CPA questions

The details a responsible advisor should ask about.

Is Black Flag asking me to provide benefits or legal advice?

No. Your role is to identify an employer that may be worth evaluating and make an introduction. Black Flag and the appropriate implementation professionals handle the program analysis and presentation. Every employer should consult its own legal and tax advisors before adopting a plan.

Do I need an insurance license?

The referral role does not ask you to sell, negotiate or service insurance. Licensing requirements depend on the activities performed and the applicable jurisdiction. The written agreement defines the permitted role, and no one may perform an activity that requires a license without the appropriate authorization.

Does this replace the client's health insurance?

No. The program is designed to work alongside existing major medical and other employee benefits.

Does the employer need to change payroll providers?

Programs are designed to integrate with existing payroll systems.

What client information is needed?

The initial review uses basic workforce and payroll information supplied with the employer's knowledge and permission. Sensitive payroll files should only be transmitted through an approved secure process, never through the partner application form.

What does Black Flag handle?

Black Flag helps qualify the employer, model the opportunity, support the presentation and coordinate with the program and implementation teams.

How are CPA partners compensated?

Any compensation is governed by a written agreement, successfully implemented business and applicable professional rules. No income, savings or production result is guaranteed.

Will Black Flag take over my client relationship?

No. The model is designed to keep the referring professional central. The written agreement defines attribution, responsibilities, communication and compensation.

Can my firm advertise the program?

Public advertising, co-branding and client-facing materials must use approved language and comply with the written agreement and applicable professional standards.
